The Butterfly Effect – interesting spin on time travel
Filed in Uncategorized, , 5:37 pm by Sukumar TweetWe watched Ashton Kucher’s The Butterfly Effect last weekend. The movie opens with an explanation of “butterfly effect” from chaos theory. I wouldn’t say the movie was outstanding, but since we did not have any expectations to begin with, we enjoyed it. It employs yet another variation of time travel, so it was kind of interesting. The plot, cinematography, editing were all pretty good. It got me thinking, as to how many different types of time travel would we have seen in movies, because we had just seen Christopher Reeves’ Somewhere in Time only a few weeks back which used a slightly different time travel technique. Looked the subject up on the internet, sure enough 2 sites (Site1, Site2) caught my attention.
